Any pre game rituals?
Always kit up left to right, left skate,right skate,left pad, right pad etc. An some good choones for a positive frame of mind.
First game?
I first started playing rec hockey in the year 2000 for the sheffield blazers, my first game with them i was told ‘just get to the net an stand in front of the goalie’ i scored 2 goals and didnt stop smiling for about a week!
Greatest acheivments in hockey?
Im only into my 2nd season of league hockey with the senators so not many acheivments up to date,recently being awarded man of the match and scoring a goal for the sens are proud moments tho. And ive still got all my own teeth.
Favourite rink?
Queens road, from public skating sessions as a kid (slush puppies and the speed session!) to
learning and playing hockey there. Good memories made with good freinds.
Least favourite rink?
I think it has to be grimsby for the size of it.
What do you love about hockey?
I love being on the ice, the speed,physicallity and excitement of the game are 2nd to none. Also the team comaradre and pywells do-nuts.
What do you do with your spare time?
Spending time with my boy marley,keeping myself fit and playing drums with my freinds in an indie rock band called Durban.
