Do you have any pre-game rituals?
More of a habit but always put my right leg pad on before the left. I’ve also been known to use Vicks Vapour rub from time to time, a tiny bit up the nose 
What was your first ever game? What was it like?
I didn’t start playing ice hockey until I was 19 I think. I played roller for for a long time before that. First ever game was in a sports hall with a plastic ball but I think my first ice game was at Queens Road just before it turned into a roller rink.
What is your greatest achievement(s) in Hockey?I wouldn’t describe them as achievements but I remember games which might seem insignificant to others but are special to me. I scored a nice breakaway deke at Billingham once which is unusual for me cos I don’t usually deke. I’ve played on various GB roller hockey teams when I was younger. I also took advantage of a unique opportunity to play in an Elite League game for the Edinburgh Capitals last season.
Favourite Rink and why?
Sheffield.
Least favourite Rink and why?
Blackburn, it’s always freezing cold in the away changing room.
What do you love most about Hockey?
The camaraderie with everyone and the feeling after a good performance when the adrenaline is still going.
What do you do with your spare time?
I’m pretty addicted to skiing. I lived in Whistler, BC for a year and would love to go back. I’m not really a big summer fan although I have started mountain biking recently.
